Welcome back to Part 2 and the conclusion of our Jeffrey Dahmer deep dive. Jeffrey Dahmer, one of the most notorious serial killers in American history, was finally captured in July 1991 when police came across a frantic, handcuffed, and partially naked man who had managed to escape Jeffrey's apartment. The man led the officers back to the apartment where they discovered gruesome evidence of his crimes, including polaroids of dismembered bodies and preserved body parts. This marked the beginning of the end for Jeffrey's reign of terror. Trigger warnings for: graphic descriptions of violence, mutilation, dismemberment, sexual violence, cannibalism, and murder. But there were some major things that did transpire, The World Trade Center bombing, Jurassic Park dominated the box office, Mrs. Doubtfire stole our hearts, Janet Jackson blew us away with her Janet album and girls were strutting their stuff in baby dolls and doc Martins. Grab a snack folks and get cozy... Today we talk about all things 1994...The year we turned 13!! The year started off with a bang at the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. The place where Nancy Kerrigan and Tanya Harding stole every athletes thunder with the scandal that took over the games, it was also the year the popular tv show Friends premiered, Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman were brutally murdered, and the death of Kurt Cobain stunned the music world. We will also discuss the top 10 movies of 94', our favorite being, Interview with a Vampire. What was yours? We even chatted about California saying goodbye to the forever classic candy Skittles and we gave our two cents on the Nsync reunion debacle. Next week we start spooky season, but will be back in November with the year that Stef and I became besties! 1995!
