May 28, 2024, Holy Rosary (Sorrowful Mysteries)
05/28/24 • 29 min
Friends of the Rosary,
When Peter said to Jesus (Mk 10:28-31), "We have given up everything and followed you," the Lord, knowing our weak nature, responded that anyone who follows Him will receive "a hundred times more now in this present age" and "eternal life in the age to come."
"Many that are first will be last, and the last will be first," He added.
Surrender all to God, living a life of complete abandonment to God’s Will, results in the fruit of the Holy Spirit, namely, love, joy, peace, hope, righteousness, and kindness. That's true freedom!
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
To Jesus through Mary!

May 27, 2024, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries)
Friends of the Rosary,
As we celebrated yesterday, there is one God, and in this one God, there are three Divine Persons: the Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God.
The Father began the work of creation. The Son redeemed us, and The Holy Spirit sanctified us.
Our God, one, eternal, and incomprehensible, sustains us despite our weak faith.
In yesterday's reading from the book of Deuteronomy (4:32-34; 39-40), we saw how wonderful God was in dealing with the Chosen People of Israel, and how all he asked for in return was that they should keep his commandments, which were for their good.
However, they quickly forgot all that God had done for them and turned to adore lifeless idols, pagan "gods" who could not help either themselves or anyone else. This was ingratitude and meanness.
Let us remember that everything that God did for the Jews, he did for us, too.
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
To Jesus through Mary!

May 29, 2024, Memorial of Pope St. Paul VI, Holy Rosary (Glorious Mysteries)
Friends of the Rosary,
Today is also the Optional Memorial of Pope St. Paul VI (1897-1978).
Pope Paul VI (Giovanni Battista Montini), born in Concesio (Brescia), Italy, worked during the Second World War to find shelter for persecuted Jews and refugees.
He initiated the Second Vatican Council and further exercised his Supreme Magisterium, favoring peace and the faith.
By his authority, he promulgated the Calendar, the Missal, the Liturgy of the Hours, the Pontifical, and nearly all of the Ritual for the Roman Rite to promote the active participation of the faithful in the Liturgy.
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
To Jesus through Mary!
