Friends of the Rosary,
Today’s Sunday, the mass (St. Luke 9:28-36) places before us the transfigured Lord. he is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end of all things.
On the second Sunday of Lent, we move from Jesus' retreat to the desert and temptation by the devil to the glory shown in Jesus' Transfiguration.
Christ Jesus shows forth His divine glory between Moses and Elias in the passage of the Transfiguration, foreshadowing His resurrection.
And with Christ, he showed two other faithful servants, Moses and Elijah, also in glory, speaking about their suffering exodus.
Jesus understood the disciples' human weakness. So, to strengthen them for the passion and crucifixion of their beloved Master some weeks later, he gave them a glimpse of the future glory that was to be theirs, too, if they persevered.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
To Jesus through Mary!

March 15, 2025, Saturday of the First Week of Lent, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries)
Friends of the Rosary,
As we read today (Matthew 5:43-48), Christ Jesus tells us, through his disciples, in the Sermon of the Mountain:
"I say to you, love your enemies,
and pray for those who persecute you,
that you may be children of your heavenly Father."
When talking about our enemies, the Lord invites us to overcome evil with good while filling our hearts with the perfection of the Holy Spirit.
"So be perfect, just as your heavenly Father is perfect."
God is perfect in love.
The sun and the rain do not discriminate. Likewise, God’s love does not discriminate; it embraces all humanity. He loves us entirely regardless of what we have done or failed to do.
If we allow God to love us unconditionally, we will begin to reflect some of His love to others.
Ave Maria!
Jesus, I Trust In You!
Come, Holy Spirit, come!
To Jesus through Mary!

March 17, 2025, Feast of St. Patrick, Holy Rosary (Joyful Mysteries)
Friends of the Rosary,
Today, March 17, the Catholic Church celebrates the Memorial Day of St. Patrick, an influential saint of the fifth century who brought Christianity to the little country of Ireland.
The feast is celebrated in Ireland and among the Irish diaspora as a religious and cultural holiday. In the Catholic Church in Ireland, it is both a solemnity and a holy day of obligation.
This day is not about leprechauns, shamrocks, and green beer but honoring and praying to St. Patrick.
After fifteen centuries, St. Patrick remains the great bishop all Irishmen venerate as their father in the Faith.
