To All The Men I’ve Tolerated Before is your weekly look at everyday misogyny! Host Natalie Katona invites guests on the podcast to chat about their experiences living in a Patriarchal society. The podcast delves into different male tropes the world has had to endure like the sports guy, the toxic boss, or the needy boyfriend. It also allows the guests to delve into how men have affected their comfort levels in the communities they take up space in like the horror genre, professional wrestling, or the military. After the honest, comedic venting, the guest and Natalie will offer up their biggest growth moment from having to tolerate the events they’ve discussed and offer everyone up some great manifestations. Let’s work on a better, inclusive, and safer future for everyone with some radical honesty and less tolerating!

This week, Natalie and Dina trade romantic comedy tropes they wish would happen to them in their real lives. Are they into an enemy to lovers subplot? A thrown together under unlikely circumstances? For Natalie, this was a chance for her to connect with her inner dreamer again and approach life as a place where fantasies can happen. Dina connects with some comedies with interesting premises! What would be the plot of your romantic comedy? To All The Men I’ve Tolerated Before is a weekly podcast where two best friends reclaim the narrative about their relationships. Natalie and Dina have spent a lot of time hearing other people’s opinions on their lives, now it’s their turn to voice their stories! Each week the friends will laugh through the highlights of the relationship, discuss how they grew and why they’re thankful the relationship took place, and then leave everyone better off with some positive manifestations. This week, Natalie is joined by one of her fairly new friends, Sarah Kate. The women will discuss how their ideals on relationships have changed since the COVID-19 Pandemic. For Sarah Kate, she found an assertiveness to her personality and now has a “this is how it is, I don’t care what you think it is” mindset. For Natalie, she needed to verbally process how odd it is to go back into a society and into relationships where you’re not sure if you still fit in. Natalie and Sarah Kate can agree, there’s definitely a change in the way relationships look now they’ve reflected on themselves and become more certain in who they are as people. How did your relationships change after you were forced to shelter in place? Let us know! Follow us at @menivetoleratedpod on Instagram! Jennifer Cooper (Jennifer Magazine) joins Natalie to talk about what it takes to carve space out for women’s media. They talk about the instances they felt they were taking up too much space or didn’t have space offered to them, Another point during the episode is how sometimes it isn’t just the systematic barriers that hold us back from having women’s stories being told but the imposter syndrome and internalized voices that make us feel like our stories aren’t worth telling. They also make sure to fit in some instances to celebrate each other for the work they’re doing on this journey into independently ran women’s media.
Make sure you have subscribed to us on Patreon! (currently running a free trial on all tiers) It is the only place where you can find our new variety series, The Misogyny Meltdown! There will be comedy, creativity, and a lot of melting down in each episode. January covered the Misogynist of the Year award ceremony, February is all about love.
