David and the Mayor look at "Ernest Saves Christmas", which did not give us the nostalgia bomb we were hoping for. Also, it's another Santa replacement story, and somehow one with even MORE weird implications than "The Santa Clause", as Santa is looking for his own replacement this time, and... targeting the desperate and lonely? Huh.

Emily comes back to review yet another romcom, this time the charming "While You Were Sleeping", which the Mayor had never seen and did NOT know what to expect from.

The mayor's final sibling joins him to review A Christmas Story 2, a real hunk of junk from a short-lived DTV crap factory. NOTE: Since recording this episode, I finished "The House", and honestly, it was pretty good. Rough first act, but that's comedies for you, sometimes you have to sweat through the exposition.
