My friend and former paramedic Ron Moore comes on to talk to me about his mental health resource website and his upcoming coast to coast motorcycle ride to raise money for local Florida PTSD organizations that help veterans and first responders. In this episode we talk about the importance of community during PTSD crisis, the epidemic of PTSD ravaging our veteran and first responder communities, and the critical need for more effective mental health treatments for both professions. We dig into our own personal battles with mental health after leaving the first responder world, and how our personal lives have been effected by our struggles.
