But the reality is, there are plenty of ways to take the reins yourself—something with which remote workers have come to grips during the pandemic.

David Novak, retired chairman and CEO of Yum! Brands, is the founder of How Leaders Lead, a digital leadership development platform he created to help people become better leaders. And his latest book, Take Charge of You, is designed to help people get the best from themselves with self-coaching.
