Early morning: bang bang bang. Reed’s perfect life at home with his wife Patrice, toddler Chummy and step son is rudely awakened by the FBI at 5am at his Californian home. Armed agents search the house for the 45 and 9mm guns. Reed shows them where they are whilst handcuffed. Evidence is being bagged and tagged calmly. Reed is read the Miranda rights. Patrice is stunned and Reed whispers a confession to her only, as she takes off his wedding ring. Reed is taken away by the FBI as Patrice is left in shock and in complete denial. She’s urged to flee the house by their police friend to avoid the press.
