This week, it's time to say goodbye. After much thought and soul searching, we have decided to no longer continue on with the show. It's been 4 years, yep we started in May 2016, and one heck of a ride!

We honestly can't believe it's been that long. But if the last few years have taught us anything, it's that we have stretched ourselves way too thin and running ourselves into the ground is something we simply cannot do.

We have so many new ventures in the pipeline that we're excited to bring you and we need to make room in our schedules for those. So it's not something to be sad about, it's simply a pivot to new directions.

We're sure we'll interview great people along the way in the future and when we do we may just release a new episode here and there, who knows, we'll never say never!

Regardless, there are over 180 episodes to revisit and sink your teeth into either via iTunes, Stitcher or listen on our website, including this final episode 183. Don't forget that each episode has its own show notes on our website which are like their own little informative blog posts too.

Thank you so very much for listening along, we really appreciate it. Don't worry we aren't going anywhere, you will still see us all the time here on our socials.

One chapter closes and many more new chapters open so stay tuned!

Much love, Tracey & Jo xx

In today’s episode of The Whole Circle Podcast we talk to the lovely Mish Pope about how powerful mindset can be and how learning to say one simple little word can have a massive impact on your life ... NO! Mish is a Life Coach, Speaker and Business Owner and she is passionate about empowering women from all walks of life to not only live their best life, but to be their true authentic selves, have self-compassion and radiate joy in the process.

Mindfulness – What is it? Mindfulness brings about the following questions that we all need to ask ourselves:

  • Are you living a life that feels aligned?
  • Are you living a life that you’re happy to be in?
  • Do you know who you are within that space?

To Mish, that is what mindfulness is all about. For a lot of us, mindfulness is a term that has only been heard about in the mainstream in the last few years or so and is quite often referred to in the wellness space.

Other ways you can be mindful are:

  • Taking a step back and assessing the situation at hand
  • Seeing how you feel about the issue
  • Putting yourself into someone else’s shoes
  • Looking at the issue from a different perspective

Things you can do each day to be more mindful or help keep you centred

  • Tracey loves to practice Yoga to help keep her mindful and centred
  • Mish recommends taking a sheet of paper and writing down what you need to give yourself restorative rest.
  • Head to the gym and work out. Mish especially loves F45 classes.
  • Being aware of your diet to ensure that your body is getting the fuel it needs to sustain you.

We talk to John Ogilvie, owner of Byron Yoga Center, who discusses yoga's transformative power and potential for stress-free living.

John Ogilvie is one of Australia’s most respected and experienced teachers and founder of Byron Yoga Centre. His journey started as an electrical contractor where he was struggling with stress. He tried various things to help de-stress including competitive sport and eventually resorting to self-medicating with drugs and alcohol. Through his recovery from addiction, he discovered yoga.

For over 45 years, John made yoga a regular practice. He eventually relocated to Byron Bay and opened the Byron Yoga Center. Initially, it was just a small room to run classes in, but with the support of like-minded individuals, it slowly grew into what it is today – a beautiful retreat centre spread across 30 acres. Trust us when we say that it really is in a magical location.

We take a deep dive into all these things:

  1. How beneficial yoga is for men too!
  2. Different styles of yoga
  3. The importance of breathing - and not just in yoga
  4. Breathing techniques
  5. A morning meditation sequence
  6. And more!

So pop those headphones on and have a listen.
