This week in Mal’s World, Mal recalls a house party he once attended at the mansion of Hollywood star Ann Margaret. It was a night that had all of the guests and all of Hollywood on edge!

This week in Mal’s World, Mal Vincent recalls the time he, as a novice music critic, was confronted with reviewing a performance by violinist virtuoso Itzhak Perlman in which one the soloist’s strings broke while he was playing! What was Mal to do? This week, Mal Vincent tells us about four new films that have stories based on events from small towns in Virginia and they’re not about Virginia history’s brightest moments.

Jerome Silberman died this past week, August 29, 2016. But you probably knew him by his stage name, Gene Wilder. Wilder was an beloved comic actor in film and theater, also a screenwriter, film director, and an author. While we all have memories of his wonderful films from Young Frankenstein to Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, this week, our own Mal Vincent shares the time he once spent with him and what Wilder called his "secret to success" and also what he would have done in life he hadn't had taken up acting.
