Welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!
It's Christmas time and we hope you'll join us this week as we discuss the Christmas sermon at Coast Life Church.
We'll begin this podcast trying to figure out why Pastor-D has such a hard time keeping his mic working. Then we'll listen as he removes his eye and turns into a pirate.
We'll then finish up our discussion about the health care system here in the United States. Pastor-D will answer the question again about what he thinks Jesus would say if he were asked about the way we deliver health care here in America.
We'll talk about how our modern-day concept of time is based on the existence of Jesus here on earth and how we all spend our physical and mental lives working within what is the very existence of him. Pasto-D will clear up the BC, AD and BCE confusion and how to tell the difference. He'll also tell us where the gentiles came from and when they started.
Finally, we'll discuss the three wise men, who they were and where they came from. We'll also talk about smart people and try to figure out why so many of them can't seem to come to the logical conclusion that God exists.

Book of Luke

Happy New Year and welcome to Thinking Out Loud with Pastor-D!
The new year is upon us and Pastor-D is back in the studio for the beginning of season 3! This week at Coast Life Church, we're starting a new series titled The Book of Luke.
We begin the podcast discussing the terror attack that occurred in New Orleans last week. We then move on to discuss the Church's security team and what happens when any sort of threat may appear at our Church. One of our security team members, Tim Solanica, also joins us today and is able to give us some insight as to what happens each week as they go about protecting us while we enjoy the services.
We then delve into the past couple of weeks as Pastor-D tells us about his hunting trip and the kids toys he got for Christmas, including his new Star Wars pajamas and light saber. - Yes, you read that right.
We'll go on to discuss Jesus as a child, how smart he probably was and what it must have been like to go through life never having sinned. Additionally, we'll address what Mary and Joseph must have gone through knowing that they were helping to raise the savior of the entire world...and what it may have felt like when they made a mistake.
We'll also talk about John the Baptist, his role in announcing the coming of Jesus and what it must have been like for him as a child knowing who Jesus was. We'll talk about his diet (locusts), his life and the significant part he played in fulfilling the prophecy of Jesus' arrival here on Earth.
