*Recorded Live from the Whisky Society's Golf and Whisky retreat in Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club. Cavite* Yamazaki Reserve Bottling Note Released in Spring 2014, this is one of two Distiller's Reserve single malt whiskies from Suntory in Japan. This single malt from the Yamazaki distillery is jam-packed with superb red berry notes, gained from the whisky being matured in Bordeaux wine casks and Sherry casks. It also features malt matured in Mizunara casks, adding subtle fragrant oak notes.

In this episode, the group is in for another special treat as Mr. Darren Hosie hand carries over a special bottling of Royal Salute Eternal Reserve, a limited edition release that is yet to hit the shelves of our local duty free.

We decided to do a random recording in the middle of our Whisky 101 event at "The Deli" @ Shaw. On top of that, we were lucky to have special guest performer Matt Epps do a mini set for the crowd.
