Harry’s Tallies
The Weekly Sceptic
01/10/23 • 82 min
In this week’s episode, Toby and Nick discuss Nick making it into the once great and edgy, but now ‘mouthpiece of the establishment’, Private Eye, how comedy has been captured by identity politics and how GB News is perceived by the wokies (who never actually watch it).
Alistair Campbell attacks Toby for being white and not Trans (while at the same time outing himself as not in step with the LGBT lobby), Nick discusses his genius peanut allergy analogy and Toby discusses how Nicola Sturgeon is spending what remains of her political capitol trying to win the miniscule Trans vote. Toby rallies behind victims of ‘shy bladder syndrome’ and Nick announces that controversialist Andrew Tate actually has ‘aggressive bladder syndrome’, judging by how unconcerned he was when Nick observed him peeing at GB News.
Also this week, the great Dr Jordan Peterson is accused of wrongthink by the College of Psychologists of Ontario – who have summoned him to attend a Maoist political reprogramming session (to be paid for by Peterson!) and Nick accidentally establishes Canada’s branch of the Free Speech Union.
This week’s first sponsor is Thor Holt and you can find him here: https://www.thorholt.com/ or https://www.linkedin.com/in/thorholt/ or on his telegram channel at @thor_holt
Nick and Toby chat about the latest news on Andrew Tate and the moral panic he has caused in schools, how the media and the court of public opinion presumes guilt rather than innocence and the boys puzzle over Andrew Tate’s conversion to Islam.
Harry’s been in the news (in case you missed it) and Nick and Toby discuss whether Jeremy Clarkson may have written ‘Spare’, Mr Markle’s plummeting popularity and whether the publisher may have been attempting to sex up an otherwise dull read with a frozen todger story here and a Taliban body count story there...
In a shorter than usual Birdwatch, the boys discuss the most recent tranche of dissidents freed from Twitter jail and the latest revelations from the Twitter files.
This week’s second sponsor is Dan Gaskin at Crest Mortgages: https://www.crestmortgages.co.uk/ 0116 5023 000
Nick is joined, once again, by Will Jones in a round-up of this week’s pick of the crop from the Daily Sceptic.
And, of course... Peak Woke!

The Weekly Sceptic
01/03/23 • 84 min
Happy New Year!
Nick and Toby discuss their new year’s resolutions (Toby to drink less, Nick to drink more, Toby and Nick to lose weight and Nick to start boxing). Andrew Tate makes another major appearance in the news (and in this week’s episode) in a new section called ‘The Top G Spot’ and the boys talk about the myriad of theories surrounding Tate’s arrest in Romania and the predictable reaction of the left leaning mob.
This week's first sponsor is Thor Holt and you can find him here: https://www.thorholt.com/ or https://www.linkedin.com/in/thorholt/ or on his telegram channel at @thor_holt
Toby and Nick discuss Carl Benjamin and Peter Hitchens’ twitter spat in ‘Birdwatch’, Nick floats off in a ‘what if’ hypothetical flight of fancy and they discuss whether apologies work with the left. And Jordan Peterson even wades in to the discussion to try and make peace!
This week’s second sponsor is Dan Gaskin at Crest Mortgages: https://www.crestmortgages.co.uk/ 0116 5023 000
And lastly – the boys fight for this week's Peak Woke crown..

D-Day for Rishi
The Weekly Sceptic
06/12/24 • 57 min
Welcome to the Weekly Sceptic episode #91
In a week full of political news, Nick and Toby talk about:
Rishi Sunak’s D-Day disaster and whether the Conservative election campaign is now holed below the waterline
The ultra-woke Lib Dem manifesto, which reads as though it’s been written by junior staff members of the Guardian
Keir Starmer’s unbelievably wooden, robotic performance in the two-way, ITV debate
And premium content on www.basedmedia.org, which includes:
The hostile reception given to Nigel Farage in the seven-way, BBC debate
The European election results and whether it’s accurate to describe populist parties like Marine le Pen’s National Rally and Giorgia Meloni as “Hard Right”, “Radical Right” or “Extreme Right”
Everyone’s favourite section Peak Woke, which includes a discussion of “front holes” and “bonus holes” as an alternative term for a Cervix
And in the Based Department, the Welsh boys football club that has abolished girls’ football and the animal rights protestors who stuck a speech bubble attacking the RSPCA on Jonathan Yeo’s ghastly ‘red’ portrait of King Charles

This week:
-In a General Election special, Nick and Toby talk about:

-Whether a ‘Presidential’ election, with the focus on the Prime Minister rather than the Conservative Party’s record in government, is Rishi’s best hope of limiting the damage
-Why the Conservatives have rejected a ‘Devil Eyes’ election strategy and decided to emphasise Keir Starmer’s weak leadership skills instead
-Plus everyone’s favourite section, Peak Woke, and premium content on www.basedmedia.org, which this week includes:
-Nigel Farage’s controversial exchange with Trevor Phillips about British Muslims and the BBC describing his Dover speech as ‘inflammatory’
-The relaunch of Loaded and whether it’s actually a bit feminist
-And the 70 year-old in a Suffolk village who chased some young hooligans down the street after they damaged her back gate (no pun intended)

Charge of the 77th Brigade
The Weekly Sceptic
01/31/23 • 89 min
In this week’s episode Toby and Nick discuss Toby’s appearance on the shadowy 77th Brigade’s watch list (along with Julia Hartley-Brewer, David Davies MP and Peter Hitchens) and the explosive Project Veritas story regarding Pfizer’s gain of function research (and the subsequent and impressive scrubbing of stories on the internet by Big Pharma and Big Tech).
They chat about Nadhim Zahawi’s tax woes, his early departure from the Cabinet and his mixed covid record. And Nick reflects on how strange life is now, being colleagues on GB News with Jacob Rees-Mogg...
And then Nick and Toby invent ‘Corbyn Corner’ a show featuring Jezza and Piers: in episode one they talk about how the Rothschilds control the world’s media!
This week's first sponsor is Thor Holt and you can find him here: https://thorholt.substack.com/ https://www.thorholt.com/ or https://www.linkedin.com/in/thorholt/ or on his telegram channel at @thor_holt (visit https://belle-epoque.co.uk/ for Thor’s meet up)
Nick and Toby discuss Nicola Sturgeon’s insane trans policies, they consider why Scotland is the wokest country in the United Kingdom and whether the latest trans prisoner scandal may be Sturgeon’s undoing. They discuss Sam Smith’s video and whether it has gone too far and Richard Madeley misgendering two people on Good Morning Britain in the space of a minute!
This week’s second sponsor is Dan Gaskin at Crest Mortgages: https://www.crestmortgages.co.uk/ 0116 5023 000

Sharm El-Sheikh Down
The Weekly Sceptic
11/08/22 • 59 min
This week, Nick chats with Toby (threat to the Chinese Communist Party and ‘Destroyer of Britain’) about how awful ‘I’m a Celebrity’ is, the decline of Ant and Dec, the disappointing absence of Matt Hancock, Boy George’s colourful past and Nick’s amazing reality show idea: ‘Culture Wars’.
They also discuss Gary Neville’s dim-witted defence of his pathetic lack of principles, Rishi’s U Turn on attending Cop27, Britain being asked to pay reparations for post industrialisation climate change damage and Boris’s pitiful response.
Birthday boy Nick is joined by the Daily Sceptic’s editor, Will Jones to cover the recent week’s most interesting stories.
Toby and Nick then talk about yet another Christian falling foul of the inclusive Lib Dems, how Christians who espouse orthodox beliefs are treated as mad by the Church of England, the ongoing Elon-Twitter saga, dark money pressure on advertisers, how business should never attempt to appease the leftist mob ...and this week’s contenders for Peak Woke!

Woke Peak
The Weekly Sceptic
04/18/23 • 108 min
Welcome to this week’s Weekly Sceptic podcast – episode 33!
Nick and Toby revisit Bud Light’s disastrous decision to pay Dylan Mulvany to endorse its product. They discuss whether this is a turning point in the pushback against woke corporations and wonder if the Right should embrace the same tactics as the Left, i.e., encourage people to boycott companies they disapprove of.
In our regular section ‘Birdwatch’, the boys discuss Elon’s evisceration of a BBC tech correspondent and why it’s so damaging for legacy media companies like the BBC to be caught trafficking in misinformation when trustworthiness is supposed to be their great asset.
They then talk about the latest Just Stop Oil protest, which involved orange powder and a snooker table, and forensically analyse the protestor’s Patreon page.
Joe Biden visited Ireland and Nick and Toby discuss his gaffe-ridden tour and how on earth this has persuaded him to run for president again. Can he win re-election? Not according to Dominic Cummings, who has used AI to predict a Trump victory in a Biden-Trump contest.
This week’s sponsor is Simple SEOMan, who you can contact via email on [email protected].
Nick and Dr Will Jones discuss this week’s most interesting stories in the Daily Sceptic.
And finally, the boys vie for this week’s Peak Woke title.

Tuck Off
The Weekly Sceptic
04/26/23 • 145 min
Welcome to this week’s (slightly late) Weekly Sceptic podcast – episode 34!
Nick and Toby discuss Tucker Carlson's departure from Fox and what may be the real story behind it.
The boys consider BuzzFeed’s demise and whether the ‘listicle’ will be missed or not.
Anheuser-Busch puts Alissa Heinerscheid ‘on leave’, prompting Toby to extol the advantages of being honest when you’ve been fired, whilst recalling how his impressive hacking skills cost him his job at the Times.
Toby and Nick discuss Diane Abbott’s peculiar letter to the Observer, and her laughable attempt at backtracking, despite the fact that many of her woke fellow travellers subscribe to the same bonkers intersectional orthodoxy.
Andrew Bridgen has been expelled from the Conservative party. Nick and Toby discuss why, and what the future may hold for him.
Dominic Raab has resigned under Kafkaesque circumstances. Is this just a hit job by the blob?
Comic titan Barry Humphries sadly passes away. Nick and Toby discuss the revolting hypocrisy of those lamenting his passing who had, only a few years ago, called for his cancellation.
This week’s sponsor is Thor Holt. You can connect with him at: https://www.linkedin.com/in/thorholt/
Dr. Will Jones and Nick go over the most interesting recent stories from the Daily Sceptic.
Jacob Rees-Mogg 'debates' Marina Purkiss on GB News, and the lads discuss whether she ‘owned’ Jacob, or whether she was simply unable to comprehend that someone may have a different opinion to her and the echo chamber in which she resides.
In this week’s Birdwatch, Nick discusses Elon trolling Stephen King and other celebs with Blue Ticks
And the boys compete for the title of 'Peak Woke'.

Freed Top G
The Weekly Sceptic
04/04/23 • 111 min
Welcome to this week’s Weekly Sceptic podcast – episode 31!
Donald Trump has been indicted by the New York District Attorney – Toby and Nick discuss what might be behind it. Andrew Tate (Top G) has been released, is under house arrest and is back on Twitter! Nick and Toby debate Tate’s meteoric, mythological (and unlikely) path to fame and notoriety. And whether Tate is a useful ally or not... And whether or not Toby might have become a Top G, had he be raised in Luton.
Trans madness continues unabated since last week with the media outdoing themselves referring to the recent school shooting in America, with Christianity being blamed for the tragedy. Nick and Toby discuss this as well as if and why the elites are promoting wokery...
Rishi Sunak is threatening to combat grooming gangs – Toby and Nick consider the predictable meltdown on Twitter as well as whether this was, in fact, a trap set for the Labour party.
Birdwatch makes a welcome return this week with the boys discussing Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s possible sock puppet Twitter account making threats to Matt Walsh and the rising temperature of political discourse in the US.
Will Jones and Nick catch up about the most interesting recent stories from The Daily Sceptic.
Toby and Nick wrestle for this week’s Peak Woke title, the boys discuss anti woke drama (and how much they love the Australian series, Mr Inbetween) and Nick reads out the latest reviews of the podcast.

World Economic Harem
The Weekly Sceptic
01/24/23 • 63 min
Welcome back to this week’s episode where Toby and Nick discuss how the global elite, after a hard day’s work saving the planet, like to pick up prostitutes in Davos. They consider Clarkson’s recent column in the Sunday Times (and Toby’s summary of it in the Daily Sceptic, which went viral) where Jeremy and his son discuss the war on free speech and Nick and Toby develop their idea for a reality show for cancelled celebrities.
Nick talks about Steven Crowder turning down the Daily Wire’s paltry $50 million offer and discusses his Daily Sceptic piece on the same being given a C– by an anonymous GETTR user. They go on to wonder why no-one is offering them $50 million dollars to appear on a YouTube channel, which Nick attributes to American media personalities having higher expectations than their British counterparts. Nick and Toby go on to describe the chasm between how celebs are treated in the UK compared to the US and they both lament about not getting enough make-up on GB News.

Toby and Nick talk about the hilarious parody Twitter account ‘TCMA’ completely fooling the media while tweeting out that ‘Natural Woman’ by Aretha Franklin was offensive and Lionel Richie’s ‘Three times a Lady’ was in fact a story about a non-binary person. And they wonder where the parody trans teacher with the large breasts went.
Toby brings Nick up to speed about the latest Government plan to ban LGBT conversion therapy and why this might actually be much worse than it sounds.
This week’s second sponsor is Dan Gaskin at Crest Mortgages: https://www.crestmortgages.co.uk/ 0116 5023 000
Nick and Dr Will Jones discuss this week’s pick of the best stories in the Daily Sceptic.
