Could the strategic placement of abortion clinics in predominantly black neighborhoods be more than a mere coincidence? Prepare to confront a startling reality as we delve into the disproportionate impact of abortion on black communities. With a pro-life lens, this episode unravels a narrative that's been largely ignored, one where black women—constituting just 14% of the childbearing population—account for a staggering 36% of reported abortions. Amidst a backdrop of silence in mainstream discourse, particularly among voices championing equality and inclusion, we challenge the status quo by shining a light on these unsettling statistics and their profound implications for the African American community.
As we peel back layers of complexity in the abortion debate, this episode does not shy away from asking tough questions about the historical and societal factors at play. With a critical eye, we examine the alarming accessibility of abortion services to African American and Hispanic populations and provoke thought on potential underlying intentions. Acknowledging the spectrum of health considerations that lead to abortions, our conversation seeks to inspire a deeper reflection on the broader societal ramifications and historical context of these high rates within black communities—a narrative set to unfold further in the continuing series. Join us for a thought-provoking journey into an issue that demands our attention and a more robust dialogue in the quest for understanding and change.

Pro-life communities are right to be concerned about the black abortion rate in America. Too often, abortions among black women are scapegoated to address extreme poverty and lack of opportunities in their communities. This is wrong – abortions in the black community are instead hurting them. We can only empower our African American communities by supporting them in finding life-affirming, long-term solutions. Economic upliftment and education are the real solutions that will create a generation of stronger, more empowered African Americans for generations to come.

"The police are my friends!” I’ve heard variations on this theme dozens of times from the law-abiding residents of high-crime communities. These hard-working people don’t loathe the police—quite the opposite. They understand what so many seem to have forgotten or never understood: Police spend most of their time in minority communities—mostly black communities—because that is where innocent people are most hurt by violent street crime. In the 75 largest U.S. counties, about 60% of robbery and murder defendants are black, even though blacks comprise only 15% of the population in those counties.

Democratic-affiliated organizations have spent millions on political ad contracts to boost pro-Donald Trump candidates in the contest. History shows such tactics can have success. In 2010, the Democratic Governors Association nicknamed several GOP gubernatorial candidates, including Republican nominee Dan Maes "And Christine O'Donnell Republicans" to try to persuade voters to reject their electability. Maes ultimately lost his general election to the then-Denver mayor -- and now Senator -- John Hickenlooper.

One thing is clear: Social welfare programs ostensibly designed to help the black community have done little more than putting the boot of government on the neck of black Americans. Rather than raising the black community, these programs have acted to – despite their intentions – destroy the black family and the black business community.

Black Americans and descendants of slaves, in particular, should partner with political stakeholders based on values and economic outcomes rather than something as blind as party affiliation. This should be too obvious to say aloud, and I believe it will soon be. It's Time for Black America to Break Up With the Democratic Party.
