It’s not everyday a plane filled with 239 passengers and crew goes missing and is never found. 7 years ago on March 8th 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 took off on a routine flight from Malaysia to China. The journey was to be 5 hours and family members gathered at the airport in Beijing to await their loved ones. They never arrived.
One hour after take off, flight 370 took a sharp turn back towards Malaysia after the radar and communications on board were shut off.
It was supposed to be a normal routine flight, but it took just several hours and then they were gone.
