9 Things I Wish I Knew Before Flying With My Mountain Bike
Here's 9 things I wish I'd known before flying with my mountain bike!
- Leave yourself plenty of time to check in. It can be stressful. Be prepared to be searched.
- Take a spare roll of tape
- Choose your box, cardboard, zip or solid.
- Use your pads as padding for the bike.
- Pack helmets and shoes in hand luggage.
- Check size allowance for boxes(some don’t forget through conveyer)
- Pedal removal
- Gas canisters small ok, large not.
- Don’t overpack the box, it will be too heavy.
- Loosen everything on the bike. Put your axle through for strength.
