Picture yourself on a normal day, maybe pumping gas in
your car or finishing up some dinner for you and your
family and then, you receive a call; a call that your child
who lives in another state didn’t come home the night
before. This is what Willie Smith experienced on January
13th , 2018. Willie received a call from his niece who lived
in Houston telling him that his son didn’t come home last
night. Willie was immediately worried as his son always
answers his phone and it wasn’t in his nature to not
communicate with his family. Through his own
Investigation Willie uncovers that his son was with
multiple friends the night before, concerningly none of
the friends know where he is and even worse their
stories don’t seem to match up. The only thing that can
be agreed upon is that Willie’s son got into the back of a
black ford fusion that night and hasn’t been seen since.
This is the story of Jared Chavis.
