Alexander Graham | Episode #9
Alexander Graham is the president and CEO of FBLA-PBL (Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda). Growing up and attending college in Virginia put him on a track towards three CEO positions: Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Council for Exceptional Children, and then FBLA-PBL.
Today we discussed his rise through high school, college, and early careers. These experiences gave Mr. Graham deep insight into leading organizations and making an impact.
He stressed the importance of communication, education, and risk-taking skills for every leader. Real-world experiences and internships are critical to students in high school and college. It's all about how you can add value to the company on day one. Perseverance is what distinguishes great teen leaders from ordinary ones.
Joining a CTSO (Career and Technical Student Organization) is a must for teens in today's world. Whether that's FBLA, SkillsUSA, FFA, etc., your passion needs to lead you.
