TT48 In Conversation with Natasha Gupta of Blue Feather Designs
The Tailoring Talk Magazine
08/19/22 • 72 min
Recorded at Ziggy Green in Covent Garden, I was joined by my friend and an amazing example for budding Female Founders everywhere, Natasha Gupta of Blue Feather Designs.
Natasha is an interior designer with a specialism in the restaurant and hospitality industry. She has a very practical, hands on approach to design... is passionate about sustainable business practices and gives back wherever possible through mentoring at Kingston University.
We actually recorded together before this meet up but the recording somehow got messed up, but I did manage to salvage most of it shortly after editing this episode... so lucky Tailoring Talkers, you get a Part Two with Natasha within a few days of this episode releasing!
This episode is best handled as though you are nursing a cappuccino on a nearby table, eavesdropping on our conversation... we talked about so much including:
- Tasha's challenges being a woman in a male-dominated industry
- Dealing with clients and weird callers
- Failing exams but succeeding in pursuing your passion
- Why neither of us would be good doctors
- The origin of Blue Feather Designs
- Fashion growing pains
- Energy and seeing people as colours
Enjoy!

Years later she took those original show recordings to turn them into the Heidi's Lemonaid Stand Podcast where she continues to connect with people who have overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges in their lives.
Roberto and Heidi talk about the definitions of happiness and success, social media and share their struggles with adversity during childhood and how they've used those experiences to try to make the world a better place today.

It’s the big one as Dr. Atif Ghaffar, The Sound Doctor himself rejoins me for a follow up to one of our most popular episodes ever!
