They also discuss what would have happened if Robert Lewandowski had completed his move to Blackburn in 2010 and how the effects of Poland beating Germany in the 1974 World Cup semi-final would have reached Valeriy Lobanovskyi. They put forward their own suggestions, as well as those from listeners, and debate how a player gets to qualify for this most mercurial group. Ten days or so into self isolating and social distancing, Musa and Ryan piece together an imaginary league featuring twenty of their favourite sides from throughout history. Before that, they reflect on the news that the Premier League will extend the season indefinitely and what that might involve from a timescale and legal standpoint.
