We start this season with Dr Ieuan Davies' (Cardiff Metropolitan University, MAD Hockey coaching) doctoral work. In this thesis, Ieuan looked back at his doctoral journey and where the ideas of a conflicted coaching identity stemmed. They also looked back at the process of doing auto-ethnographical work and the wider implications of Ieuan's work.
