The Show on Fire - A Hunger Games Podcast

This week we have Savanna New, one of the hosts from Hunger Games Fireside Chat, on with us! We discuss her experiences with The Hunger Games fandom through the Fireside Chat. We also discuss some of the legal boundaries and fears that come along with creating things inspired by books or movies.

So it is officially our very first episode! I dont think we can even come close to telling you all how excited we are about this! So lets get down to business and show you all what we have in store for the pilot episode of “The Show on Fire”. - We are going to introduce you to ourselves and what “The Show on Fire” is and how much fun it is going to be every week. - Jessica and Melissa from District 13 are going to be on to talk about their Christmas album “The Twelve Days of The Hunger Games” - We will discuss a new version of “The Hanging Tree” that has surfaced by Adriana (youtube username adriasaurus) which is BRILLIANT! - And of course we will discuss what is new with Rockingjay (Hunger Games Inspired Music) as well as other filk music.

Kat from The Design is on to talk about their new album and specifically the song "Burn, which was inspired by Mockingjay. We also talk about Music of Panem Part 3 by Sam, Hair Ribbons and Rainbows by Alex, and When I Was Your Age by Matt Maggiacomo.

Steph Anderson joins us today to talk about her experiences with wizard rock and now The Hunger Games. We also discuss filk music and what it is all about.

Author KM Parr is on this week to talk with us about her new book "Alex in Wunderstrande". We also discuss the composer for The Hunger Games, James Newton Howard.
