We've gone from bad to worse in no time. 2023 isn't shaping up to be any better...if anything, I believer that things will pick up "prophetic speed". I know for a fact that this pace of evil is leading to much evil fatigue. It's tiresome to constantly be hearing bad news everywhere we look. It seems as if evil is winning and we've lost the battle...that couldn't be farther from the truth.
There are two things that are for certain. One, is that the times of the end are upon us. The storm clouds have formed and the drizzle of the end has begun. And two, the best part for the beliver is that we won't be here for the deluge. So, how should we face a new year with so much uncertainty? Well, that's what I'd love to share with you the Serpents & Doves family. We've gotta have enough left in our spiritual tanks to finish strong. Stand firm, take courage, for what's ahead is glorious and I'm stoked! You should be too.

The book of Judges should serve as an example of what happens to a nation that is constantly turning it's back on God and doing what they believe is best in their own eyes. However, God, in His great mercy always hears us when we cry out to Him. One individual that I'd like to focus on from the book of Judges is Gideon. The story of Gideon is full of amazing parallels with our lives and how God will use us despite what we see as complete inadequacies and lack of skills.
Stay tuned for a multi-part series on the life of Gideon and how we can learn from a life where God qualified who He called to serve Him. As that famous saying goes "God doesn't call the qualified, He qualifies the called." I pray that you will be blessed as we take a look at Gideon. Blessings!
