OUR SPECIAL GUEST ON THE SHOW THIS WEEK is a Sydney business success story. When Wigs by Vanity was started in 2003 by Ben Moir (AKA Vanity Faire) - in partnership with fellow drag artist Courtney Act - it redefined drag wigs in Australia and delivered a unique concept of wigs made by drag queens for drag queens.

It has since grown into a high profile and internationally recognised Australian brand - boasting a clientele of some of the biggest drag stars around the globe - and has set an industry standard amongst the drag community.

OUR SPECIAL GUESTS ON THE SHOW THIS WEEK are two of the most famous drag talents in Australia - Art Simone and Etcetera Etcetera - and following their participation in hit reality TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under, their names are now known globally.

The dynamic duo have teamed up for their own show - As Seen On TV . But that’s not all - they're doing the show in tandem with their own ‘one of a kind’ make-up workshops called Backstage Beauty. It’s an epic 19 date national Australian tour - not only of our major cities but regional centres too.

OUR SPECIAL GUEST ON THE SHOW THIS WEEK is UK singer and dance music star Tina Cousins. Her timeless tracks back in the late '90s and noughties such as 'Forever', 'Killing Time', 'Pray' and 'Wonderful Life' made her a dancefloor star across the decades, especially in Australia where the singer enjoys her second biggest fan base.

It’s been over a decade since Tina Cousins was last in Australia - now she's back to play a slew of gigs around the country. Most notably, she just headlined The Laneway Party for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. She talked to us about how excited she was to be back in Australia, why it's been so long in between visits and shares details of a brand new album - her first in 15 years - which is slated for release later this year.

The Sydney Sentinel 's Travis de Jonk explores the week's top stories on sydneysentinel.com.au.

OUR SPECIAL GUEST ON THE SHOW THIS WEEK is John Baker - a pioneering trailblazer of gay publishing in Australia. Baker launched his gay lifestyle magazine William & John back in 1972 - just a few years after the Stonewall riots in the US and six years before the first ever Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras protests.

Recognised as the first ever commercial lifestyle gay publication in Australia, its format is one that is still largely used today. Featuring full nude male centrefolds as well as articles on politics, arts and health, it connected gay people together like nothing before. However Baker faced fierce opponents both in and out of the gay community over William & John. Some were determined to censor and ultimately close the magazine.
