The Secret Life of a Bikini Competitor

This week, I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with Tyarra Nelson who is an IFBB Bikini & ICN Fitness competitor, dietitian, online health, fitness, nutrition and physique coach and co-host of the awesome Bodybuilding Dietitians Podcast.

It was so awesome to sit down and pick Tyarra’s amazing brain on some really interesting topics and I hope you guys get as much out of this as I did! I will 100% be having Tyarra back on the show sometime in the near future so keep those questions handy!

- Her surf lifesaving experience
- Moving from track sports to weightlifting
- Feeling empowered through weightlifting
- Taking three years to build up to her first comp
- Coaching herself to stage
- Competing for the experience AND having a winning mindset
- Loving the prep process
- Taking full advantage of competing seasons and experimenting with federations
- Her work as a physique coach
