Seán McCabe - World football's first Climate Justice Officer

In January this year Bohemian FC in Ireland made news around the world when they appointed Seán McCabe as the world's first climate justice officer at a football club. Having worked with climate issues for close to a decade, the partnership with the fan owned club with the aim to incorporate more climate focused policies into the club's plans.
In a conversation that had the failed super league in mind, we talked about what it means for a community focused club to take the lead on this issue, the banter which followed his appointment, and Seán's hopes for what football can do to tackle the coming climate crisis.
