I swear every time I turn on the news, it upsets me. A lot of the time I see people and I just want them to be different, at the office I want people to change and you know what, I need to stop. I've found that when I can accept people as they are be it my husband, my children, colleagues, in-laws or neighbors, I have more peace in my life.
Accepting people as they are does not mean giving a pass for bad behavior, it does mean letting go of trying to control things you cannot and through that having more great days.
