The Wheel of Consent w/ Corinne Diachuk
The Sacred Erotic Podcast
10/08/19 • 37 min
Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent is one of the most eye-opening tools I have found. I use it on myself, I use it with clients. I had studied it on my own for some time and then took Corinne Diachuk’s workshop when she visited Brooklyn earlier this year. The Wheel of Consent is incredibly profound and its simplicity has an amazing ability to break through so much confusion in our lives.
I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

Wanting, liking, and pleasure w/ Joseph Kramer
The Sacred Erotic Podcast
10/13/21 • 53 min
In this episode of the Sacred Erotic Podcast, Joseph Kramer, Ph.D., discusses some of the nuances of wanting and liking and how it influences our ability to be in pleasure. Joseph's contributions to the world of erotic touch cannot be overstated. And I feel truly lucky and honored to have him on the Sacred Erotic Podcast. For thirty-five years, Joseph Kramer has trained erotic touch educators through the Body Electric, Sexological Bodywork and his online school: https://www.eroticmassage.com/. His Ph.D. on erotic massage focused on the many ways we can play with sexual arousal while liberating ourselves from limiting habits. Pleasure in the Time of Covid-19 w/ Betty Martin
The Sacred Erotic Podcast
05/28/20 • 37 min
Betty Martin’s Wheel of Consent has changed many lives. The depth of understanding it brings into how we create pleasure cannot be overstated.
In this conversation, Betty talks about how we can create pleasure in our own bodies in the time of Covid-19. She also addresses the multi-faceted ways we receive pleasure through our senses, attached meanings, and how we can become more attuned to receiving the pleasure that is available for us right now.
Betty’s work has been life-changing for me and for so many of my clients. I highly recommend checking out my previous podcast on the Wheel of Consent in which Corinne Diachuk explains the Wheel of Consent.
Betty also offers hours of content for free on her website. So until we are able to attend her workshops again, head over to https://bettymartin.org/videos/ and start watching!
Thank you so much, Betty.

Chakras & Tantra: Where do I belong? Who am I? (1st & 3rd chakras)
The Sacred Erotic Podcast
06/06/20 • 43 min
In this new series, we are looking at the chakras through a tantric lens. There are hundreds of books on chakras out there, but my goal in creating this series was to bring them back into the body and our lived experience. My goal was see these magical and mysterious centers of energy as they are expressed in our bodies.
In this episode, Mark Fleming comes back to the podcast to talk about our root chakra, where we belong, and how the over- or under-expression of that chakra can impact us in significant ways. We also discuss its connection to the third chakra in the belly and how all of the chakras are associated with organs of action and organs of perception.
Mark Fleming has studied with Swami Ravi Rudra Bharati for over 20 years. His expertise on the chakras and how they express in the body cannot be overstated.
Mark has been one of my primary teachers for the last two years and it an honor and a joy to be able to bring his wisdom back to this podcast. Thank you, Mark.

Chakras & Tantra: The Nadis - Ida, Pingala, and Sushumna w/ Arabella Champaq
The Sacred Erotic Podcast
06/15/20 • 45 min
The nadis are channels that carry energy through our bodies. There are thousands, but we tend to focus on three: ida, pingala, and sushumna.
Ida and pingala travel from the root chakra to the third eye, crisscrossing paths along the way. Sushumna is the central channel that travels up the middle.
Where the three meet, you will find a chakra.
I am beyond delighted to have Arabella Champaq back on the podcast to talk about the nadis and how they have helped support her and her practice.
The nadis are an important part of our subtle energy body, but not talked about nearly as much as the chakra system.
Arabella discusses what they do, how you can recognize which is activated, and some practical steps to take into your daily practice.
Arabella Champaq was initiated by Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, a Sufi Master of the Chishti Order, in 1976. She studied with him for 25 years.
Eventually, she began searching for a more integrated path, one that included all parts of her being. She longed for a spiritual path that addressed the disconnect between spirit and body, between God and Pleasure, between what we believe and how we live.
She began an exploration of sacred sexuality, which led her to tantra. In tantra, she has discovered the perfect marriage of the sacred and the profane, of the inner and outer worlds, of the fact that she has both an innate desire for the transcendent state and experiences extended orgasms.
She studies with Swami Ravi Rudra Bharati (a.k.a. Rudy Ballentine), a student of Swami Rama. She has taught meditation, led retreats, classes, and workshops since 1985.
