The Ricky Baker Kung Fu Show

This interview was conducted by my good friend and Bruce Lee expert Steve Kerridge and tells the story of John Young, a soldier stationed in Hong Kong during 1971. This was at the time Bruce Lee was shooting scenes for “Way of the Dragon” and John was invited to the set by Bob Wall and Chuck Norris to meet with the then Hong Kong Super star. Here, in a frank interview, he tells of his joy and excitement at getting the opportunity to shake the ‘fist of fury’ that is Bruce Lee, get some pics, and witness the sheer aura that exuded from Bruce himself.

Our second show features a relaxed chat between Ricky and Marie getting an inside look into how the world of Ricky Baker began back in the 80's, what's going on today and all the exciting news that coming up for Ricky and Eastern Heroes. We also discuss the changing times of cinema and entertainment in the martial arts genre.

On our 3rd installment, author Steve Kerridge stops by to talk about his forthcoming book, “Bruce Lee: Legends of the Dragon.” We also chat about martial arts cinema over the past 40 years and Bruce Lee’s effects on it and Steve shares some stories from his experiences working in the kung fu film industry. Also, Marie tells us about her experience seeing some legendary kung fu movies in a proper movie theatre for the first time.
