John Povey, an energy healer and spiritual explorer, shares his inspiring journey from construction worker to healer. We dive into the ins and outs of energy healing. We tackle the how and why of energy healing by covering topics such as chakras, ancestral trauma, and your energetic/emotional system. Why is it that energy healers get such great results? Why do people get stuck in their journeys to heal trauma such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, etc.? These are the types of questions that we seek to answer in our conversation. How can we achieve this? According to John, "The human body is like a radar dish. We receive energy, including emotional energy into that dish and we get it from everywhere. As in a Radar dish, we have a focal point that disseminates energy. We need to give ourselves a focal point to help us disseminate the energetic damage of the trauma. Something that we can do to actually focus the energy." Through John’s journey, he encourages us to believe in the healing process and in the power of our own abilities, providing hope that there is a cure for all trauma.
