It's Day 23 of The Rabble podcast's Daily Democracy Challenge, where we count down 46 days of impactful-yet-achievable action items to flip Texas and elect our 46th president.

We will be wearing our hottest neons, jamming to '90s throwbacks, eating donuts, and then sticking pre-printed post-its with election info on apartment doors. Safe, fun, impactful. Plus, you'll get to meet a candidate for State Board of Education and two local School Board candidates, and someone from Wendy Davis's campaign will be there to tell you how you can help get that shero elected. TODAY'S ACTION:
This isn't directly related to getting anyone elected, but it is directly related to fighting voter suppression. Today, Saturday, October 10 at 11am there will be a rally at the Texas State Capitol in support of Crystal Mason, who may be sent to prison for 5 years for unknowingly attempting to cast an illegal ballot.
Here's info on the rally.
Can't attend the rally? Pick up the phone and call Gov. Abbott's office. Ask him to pardon Crystal Mason for making an honest mistake and casting a ballot that was never even counted. No harm was done -- don't send Crystal to jail and separate her from her children for this. Gov. Abbott's number is: (512) 463-2000
