Alan came from needing financial support from his church, receiving Christmas gifts from others for his children, going to food pantries to feed his family, several family members passing away, and being close to completely breaking to eventually turning it all around to have happiness, purpose and prosperity. On today’s episode, we’re joined by Jared Hoying Former MLB Player, and we talk about his incredible journey, whose career took him from the MLB to South Korea and back. Drafted by the Texas Rangers in 2010, he worked his way up to the majors, playing for the Rangers in 2016 and 2017. He then spent three seasons with the Hanwha Eagles in South Korea before returning to the U.S. with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2021. After a brief stint in the big leagues, he headed back to Korea, joining the KT Wiz mid-season and winning his first championship in 12 years of pro ball. Now, Jared is transitioning from the field to the corporate world, bringing his hard-earned skills from baseball into his next chapter. Jeremy M. Locke’s journey spans two decades of military service, starting in the U.S. Army Infantry and culminating as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant and Team Sergeant with the 5th Special Forces Group at Fort Campbell, KY. During five combat deployments, he honed his skills in austere environments, amassing nearly five years of overseas service.

In 2019, Jeremy’s career took a pivotal turn when he responded to Hurricane Dorian alongside his now-wife, Britnie Turner. The experience reignited his sense of purpose and revealed the unique impact that military skills could bring to disaster relief efforts. Motivated by this, the couple transformed Aerial Recovery into a veteran-powered non-profit organization, focusing on humanitarian missions.

Since 2021, Jeremy has utilized his expertise to lead rescue missions for trafficking victims and implement training operations worldwide. His passion for helping fellow veterans led to the creation of the Heal the Heroes Initiative, a year-long healing program that repurposes struggling veterans and first responders. Upon completion, participants can train as Humanitarian Special Operators, conducting anti-human trafficking and disaster response missions under Jeremy’s guidance.

Locke’s vision and leadership continue to drive Aerial Recovery’s mission, showcasing the profound impact that a veteran-powered organization can make on the world.
