The Prairie Files: a true crime podcast - The Prairie FILES: A true crime podcast - Episode 7 - Dangerous offender
play

03/16/22 • 31 min

In this story we talk about the gruesome crimes committed by a more than monstrous and vile human being. Normally we talk about murder's but in this case, he did end up causing the death of someone but it took much longer for them to die. He also did much more than that. It took 3 dangerous offender hearings but this psychopath will most likely remain behind bars for the rest of his miserable life. This abomination that doubles as human has shot a police officer, dated a pedophile, "ripped the penis, almost off" of a poor child and beat a man into a coma. He will never smell the air of freedom for the rest of his moral life.

The Prairie Files: a true crime podcast - The Prairie FILES: A true crime podcast - Episode 6 - "Nina-Louise"
play

02/26/22 • 47 min

One of the most heart breaking stories in Edmonton's murderous history, we dive into the dark details of the senseless killing of the innocent 13 year old Nina-Louise Courtepatte. We summarize the crime and each individual monster who preyed on the life of the poor teenager. This story also led to the closure of another murder case that of Ellie-may Meyer, a sex trade worker who was found murdered near the same location as other women murdered and 2 days before Nina's murder. It's my belief that some of the accused are responsible for other murders of sex trade workers. This episode is callous and should be listened to with a great deal of caution.

play

02/05/22 • 41 min

Six members of the Pederson family as well as a family friend were all bludgeoned to death in a callous attack. This tragic event is one of the worst massacres in Canadian history, it's often over shadowed by the killing of another family with the same name that happened in Shell Lake Saskatchewan just 17 months earlier. There isn't a lot of information on this case out there other than old new articles which we've compiled for you to tell the story.  This case was cut and dry and the offender went to prison for many years. However the family would be left to suffer with almost no help from the community they lived in.
