What does all this mean for Christians?
1. We must only ordain men pastors for spiritual leadership.
2. We must value the calling and giftedness of all people in the church.
3. We must lovingly model our roles.
4. We must hold the spiritual leaders in our associations to the same standard.

Matthew 5:7
“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”

6 Truths from the Bible about Mercy
1. Grace and mercy are not interchangeable terms. Hebrews 4:16
2. Forgiveness is only a part of mercy. Ephesians 2:4-5
3. Love can exist without mercy. Ephesians 1:4-5
4. Mercy is paid for by the one who gives it. Isaiah 53:5
5. The dispensing of God’s mercy is person-specific. Romans 9:15-18
6. God loves the merciful. Matthew 25:40

1. Remember what Christ did for you.
2. Elevate meeting the needs of others
3. Show mercy and God will show you mercy.

The main tenets of CRT:
1. Racism is everywhere in American.
2. Systemic racism demands restructuring.
3. How an oppressed person feels trumps everything.
4. Oppressor groups only change for self-benefit.
5. Laws and rights should be different for oppressed groups.

What does the Bible say about these things?
1. Nothings eradicates sin but salvation.
2. Truth comes from the absolute laws of God.
3. Societal temptations are no excuse for bad personal choices.
4. People are judged individually by God.

What are we to do in this climate?
1. Denounce all sin, including racism.
2. Prioritize seeing everyone by their identity in Christ.
3. Pray for spiritual change, not policy change.
4. Minister to everyone.

God is eventually going to deal with America. The sermon today is a warning of what He will do if things keep going the way they are going.

4. God made humans with purpose.

1. Recognize and yield to the authority of God.
