A painful experience can abruptly stop anyone in their tracks. No one plans for painful experiences and no one is exempt from it. In this solo episode, we are stating one major point - “Don’t Quit” - “Get Back On Track”.

It’s never too late, it’s okay to start over or re-evaluate the plans you set in the beginning of the New Year.

We are now in the 4th Quarter of the year and many have given up on their dreams. Many are questioning was the dream real and many are ready to put the business plan back on the shelf, because obstacles has caused delays.

Remember, progress isn’t always linear, and every step forward is a step closer to your goals. Keep pushing, stay resilient, and don’t quit. The journey might be challenging, but the rewards are worth the effort.

Behind what some may think is an impossible achievement lies a story of determination, resilience, and the power of the human spirit. Todays guest is Joan Curran Darkortey, aka “The Difference Maker”.

A journey that began with a seed of imagination, turned into a vision of what could be, to founding Liberia Economic Development Initiative (LEDI) with her husband Rufus Darkortey. This will be the first of it’s kind state of the art “Public Library and Technology Center” for the people of Liberia, West Africa. Joan and LEDI, envision a future without limits.

Stunned with fear and emotions after hearing You Have Breast Cancer is what Hannah Hopkins Walton felt in 2017 after a doctors visit. Hannah wrote “I wondered about the big things. Am I going to die? Who will take care of my family! How do I tell my loved ones? “How long is this going to take?” Hannah said she found out quickly that cancer doesn’t care who you are or what you have going on in your life.

Hannah wanted to add value to help others not feel alone, make a difference, share stories, learn & laugh so she created a podcast entitled "Hannah's Superbad Podcast" . Hannah walked us through her journey and told us how she was able to find the lighter side to this HEAVY battle she had to face. Hannah, also found a need in her fight that would help so many other women who is battling this awful disease.
