The hypocrisy and the lack of self-awareness are truly astonishing. As politicians and the talking heads were apoplectic over Governor DeSantis’s decision to send 50 migrants to Martha’s Vineyard, screaming how it was political theater, they never once reflected on what they were saying. Everything in politics is political theater. The real question is how effective is the political theater?
