On the latest edition of “The Parting Schotts Podcast,” Daily Gazette of Schenectady (N.Y.) sports editor Ken Schott previews Saturday’s ECAC Hockey tournament first-round game between Union and Brown. Schott has interviews with Union players Ben Tupker, Kyle Chauvette, Liam Robertson and John Prokop, and Brown head coach Brendan Whittet.

Dan Rubin, who covers the ECACH for USCHO.com, joins Schott to break down this weekend’s four first-round games.

Schott goes down Memory Lane, looking back at Union’s 3-2 victory over Brown in 1994 that clinched the program’s first-ever ECACH tournament berth. Schott talks to two members of that team, forward Jeff Jiampetti and goalie Michael Gallant, about that night.
