Well. We're here. The Last Jedi. We knew it was coming and we knew it was going to happen but...ugh. But alas, we have to finish off our Star Wars film recaps and that has to be done by looking at the eighth episode so let's just do it shall we? Have we gotten over just how disappointing this movie was? Has it gotten worse? Are there any redeeming features? Did the reviews for this movie actually break the film industry given the fan backlash? How is this movie macklunkey? How hard are we trying to like this rather than no like it? How hard was it to take the death of Carrie Fisher? What will our take on Rose be? Is the opening crawl the most pointless opening crawl in all of Star Wars? Can we handle the humour in this movie, particularly a "yo mama" joke? Why does the whole opening battle just make no sense? Why is the force kind of stupid in the opening sequence? How great are porgs? Seriously. Porgs are the best. Porgs. Porgs porgs porgs. Oh...the rest of the movie. Sorry. Porgs. How disturbed are we by alien blue titty milk? Porgs. Should Leia be brought up on some HR charges for her slap on Poe? Porgs. How amazing once again is Kylo Ren? Porgs. Is the Chewbacca scene with the porgs the best scene in the entire sequel trilogy? Porgs. What do you think of Laura Dern and her role as Holdo? Porgs. Could Finn ever feel his teeth? Porgs. What scene should Lando be in but sadly isn't? Porgs. Why do we want to just ignore the entire casino storyline? Porgs. What do we think of fish nuns? Porgs. How great is it to see Yoda return? Porgs. Why is the mutiny just so frustrating? Porgs. Why does Ben zone out throughout most of this episode? Porgs. Why is the Holdo scene involving hyperspace incredible and flawed at the same time? Porgs. How great is Andy Serkis? Porgs. Do we like the look of the salt planet? Porgs. What great way could this movie have ended that sadly doesn't happen? Porgs. What could they have done to make Rey's brilliance in everything make sense from the very beginning? Is it great to have Han and Chewie back, even though their introduction scene is very pointless? Do we even remember the name of Maz's planet? Do we even care about Maz? Why do we just not care about the republic getting destroyed? How awesome is Hux? How is awesome Kylo Ren? Does this movie have a weaker storyline than The Last Jedi? What do we think of LUPITA NYONG'O? Are we feeling a bit flat over the battle sequences? Do we love the JJ Abrams honour role of past actors from past projects? What is the deal with C3PO's red arm? How amazing is it to have Daniel Craig in this movie? Why should Kiefer Sutherland be in this movie? Is Han Solo's death a little too obvious? How angry are we that Chewie doesn't hug Leia at the end? And do we still get so excited over the ending?
