I am calling out public figures who have made wild claims about nurses during a game of “Who Said It?”. To wrap up, I get into jobs beyond the bedside within the nursing field. If you’re unhappy with your current role, there is no need to leave nursing all together. The world needs more incredible nurses like you!

Then I get into the life and legacy of Florence Nightingale. I’m sharing her story in detail to show how her extraordinary efforts in nursing contributed to the development of modern nursing as we know it today.

One part of Florence’s story that remains a mystery is her personal life and relationships. My husband and I share our experience learning more about Florence in London a few years back, and we provide some evidence that may lead some to believe that she was a part of the LBGTQIA+ community.
