The No Proscenium Podcast - Webbed Toes 5: White Agony of the Only Child
play

08/07/20 • 74 min

So our already planned bye week nearly got a bit more "bye" to it. The plan was to drop the next installment of Webbed Toes... but when I opened up the files this morning it turns out that Craig, our Discord recording tool, had basically eaten Zay's track up and turned him into a squirrel. Luckily I had been paranoid about Craig that week, and used Audio Hijack to record the session as a backup. Even better: I REMEMBERED that I did that about halfway through writing this post and telling you all we'd have no episode. This time out: our favorite episode of the series so far, some Robotech talk, and the subtle art of subverting musical homages to avoid lawsuits. The No Proscenium Podcast - Episode 223: Sam Dubois of The Avenue Adventure
play

11/15/19 • 54 min

This week on the show we travel up to CalArts and talk with Sam Dubois, the creator of Albany CA's The Avenue Adventure. Sam, now a sophomore at the University, got his start by creating the Albany Haunt when he was 12-years-old. He then ran it for five years.

The Avenue Adventure was Sam's first crack at an Alternate Reality Game, and he managed to get the local Chamber of Commerce signed on. Look, what I'm saying to you is this: the next generation of immersive creators are here and they are going to run laps around everybody. Let's gooooo.

The No Proscenium Podcast - Episode 094: Immersive Actors Dasha Kittredge and Keight Leighn
play

04/14/17 • 83 min

What can we say about Dasha and Keight, Keight and Dasha?

If you're a fan on the LA immersive scene you've probably encountered their work with Annie Lesser (Getting To Know You, Covell), or seen Dasha in Delusion or had the most disturbing one-on-one possible with Keight in Lesser's A(partment 8)--which is getting a reprise this year at the Hollywood Fringe and is appearing at the Overlook Film Festival as The Chalet.

But that's their resumes.

What's it like to, you know, just hang out with Dasha and Keight?

It's awesome. Enjoy.

All that plus another ridiculously huge raft of News. Honestly people, you need to calm down.
