How do you see the God of the Bible? Do you see Him as good and faithful? Many of us can't help but see God through a filter which is made up from our earthly father and other men in our lives. If our Dad was absent than we can feel like God is absent. If our Dad was mean or short it's easier for us to miss how God is patient and kind. I would encourage you to strip away that filter that our earthly fathers and other men have made for us and start giving God a second chance. When we see God clearly for who He really is in our lives we begin to repair our relationship with Him and begin to know Him as He truly is.
