Much like many western films, another great place to find killer moustaches are in 1970s sports films and it is possible that 1977's Slapshot may have the most. If this movie had a fu manchu it would be one holy grail of a moustachioed movie. Not much has changed since Ernest Dickerson's Surviving the Game (1994) was released. The rich remain seemingly unscathed in their efforts to marginalize the lives they see as lesser than their own. What's great about this movie is you get that deep message, but you also get a plethora of WTF moments and pure hilarity. I'm joined by Tim from Queens to unravel this bad boy. There are so many questions. Was Ice-T at all intimated by leading a movie supported by some of the greatest character actors ever?? Was nu-metal inspired by Ice-T's wardrobe? Can Ice-T control wolves? All these questions won't be answered, but listen anyway!

As I mentioned a while back, I've made it my mission to cover films that The Grindbin Podcast has covered in the past. If you're a listener that doesn't know about The Grindbin, then you're missing out. I decided to pick action/war film, 1991's McBain as the first movie to cover. I always found it so puzzling that Christopher Walken starred in an action and revolutionary war film, that takes place in Columbia. It seems like some sort of Mandela Effect situation.
