Prayers Taking A Long Time To Be Answered

Remember when Nabi Zakaria prayed for a child remarkably for many years? Not a day went by without him losing faith to call upon Him; ‘My Lord! Grant me a good offspring from You. Indeed You are the hearer of supplication’ (Quran 3:38).

Note the way he prayed to Allah Swt; grant me from You. He does not seek the fulfillment of his prayers from anyone else except Allah Swt. Even though he had been praying for many years, he stayed hopeful and Allah loves those who do not despair of His mercy. And with the birth of Nabi Yahya, Nabi Zakaria proved to us that Allah Swt will definitely answer prayers in His own timeline.
