09/12/19 • 70 min
This interview was a special one, indeed! My good friend, Friedrich, who is currently studying nonviolent communication, breaks down the concepts and some of the strategies used in the methodology that help him with his personal and professional relationships. He has been strongly moved by the teachings of Marshall Rosenberg and wants to share it with others. If you're interested in bettering your communication skills, this is the episode you do not want to miss.

S1E2: Surf with Richard in the Dominican Republic
Richard Große was a lovely guest at the hostel I volunteered at in Cabarete. Him and I hung out almost everyday and went surfing together most mornings. He stayed at the hostel for almost a month so I got to know him pretty well. He was gracious enough to allow me to interview him on the beach when he wasn't feeling well enough to surf. He is well-traveled and a very independent and grounded individual. If you're a surf nerd like us, you're going to want to tune in.

S1E4: 5 Demands Not 1 less- Live at the Oct. 1st Protest in Hong Kong
This episode is a combination of two conversations I was able to record in the middle of the protest during China's National Day in the Causeway Bay neighborhood of Hong Kong. In this hectic day filled with chants, vandalism, strong political views, closed businesses & trains and a very strong sun, I was able to walk up to people and see why they were there and what change they wanted to see from the government. Thankfully these women were willing to chat with me for a while and give me their opinions on the political status in Hong Kong. This is truly an episode like no other.
