Namco was responsible for other arcade classics like Pacman, Galaga and Dig Dug to name a few. The NES port was developed by Now Production and published by Namco in Japan but published by Bandai in North America. Now Production also created NES titles including Yo! Tonight we are reflecting on Renegade which is a 1986 arcade game developed by Technos Japan and published by Taito. Taito later released a port developed by Technos Japan in-house for the NES in North America in January of 1988.
Like Capcom, Taito was also responsible for porting popular arcade games to the NES like Elevator Action, Legend of Kage and Arkanoid. They also published some of the most highly sought-after games on the NES like Flinstones: Surprise at Dinosaur Peak, Panic Restaurant and Little Samson.

Nintendo’s R&D 4 team ported Kung Fu and then went on to create Super Mario Bros.
