How traditions affect your child's memories and relationships.
Christmas Punch:
1 can unsweetened pineapple juice
32 oz. cranberry juice
1 c. sugar (use less for tart flavor)
15 whole cloves (approximately)
4-5 cinnamon sticks
Pour juices and sugar into large pot. Wrap spices in cheesecloth or tea ball. Add to pot. Let simmer - the longer it simmers, the better it will be.
Recipe note:
My daughter Madeleine and I look forward to spending Christmas Eve at Mee-mee and Granddaddy's house. One thing I enjoy is this punch - the aroma is inviting and always sets the mood for the festivities.
