56:00 - Another top episode for Dan and Patty does some flip-flopping. We know you're keeping score. Zak Brown plays beer league softball, George almost dies and the drivers play paddle ball. You know, racing.

Hey there Midfielders!

How's a boot one more for the road? Guest that is! We brought in our good pal Terry Widdows from Coffee Corner Motorsports, again, to help get us geared up for the new season. Nobody is more clued into quality F1 breaking news, up to date with savvy- in the know information, or willing to spend time with us dorks on The Midfield Pod. He is the Tonto to our Lone Ranger, the Turner to our Hooch, our Guy in the Chair. You know him, you love him, we all fight to understand him, let's get crackin' mates!

3:30 - We already know Terry's background and origin story, go check it out on his first episode! We dive right in with what his take-aways were from '25 testing. Floods are a-comin' cause we're busting out the sandbags. Terry like's Kimi's potential, but what does he expect to get out of Liam Lawsoms this season? Didn't know there was gonna be a quiz didja?!

13:30 - We try to get Terry's favorite team or driver, but he's too much of a lover for that. Loves his Senna and everybody else, who can blame him? Once again, we do our best to get Terry's sources for ourselves, but he plays his hand close to his chest. He's even more informed than the teams themselves! We're just glad he's on our team.

30:30 - We get Terry's favorite moments from 2024, and talk briefly about safety and the introduction of the "halo". We question the almighty FIA and discuss full time stewards. We solved the problem. We at the Midfield are economists with Terry's help. We find out what grinds Terry's gears and say cheerio.

Welcome back to a brand new season Midfielders!

We couldn't be happier to have a recap on board for your enjoyment. We also set some boundaries and bust out the whiteboard. Did someone land a BOLDIE last week?! We wrap things up with a look ahead to China! Feels gooooood to be back in the saddle.

7:42 - Tops off for a top-down rundown of the Midfield teams we're still allowed to talk about! First up is The silver arrows? Checks notes, TIED with the top team? If Kimi can keep his head in the the dry as well as he did in the rain these guys may find themselves out of our range as well.

36:30 - After tackling a few of our top midfield teams, it's time for our favorite and sometimes most difficult segment. That's right, it's time, once again to; Say Something Nice! Our boy had a pretty good weekend beating his teammate and finishing the race. Starting the season better than Ferrari's got to feel nice, let's hope they enjoy it while it lasts.

42:07 - Up next it's Sauber at P6? Can you tell it rained the first race of the season or what? Hulk doing Hulk stuff, but is this car actually better than last year? Probably not, but it's good to be able to talk about these guys for at least a little while longer. We also get into Ferrari and some squishy cheeks.

57:58 - Juniors! The little baby bulls didn't have a great showing but we have high hopes. Ike gets a double debut in China and this car has more to show than the rainy session was able to let shine through. We discuss some potentially dangerous driving from some of the old pros as well.

69:00 - Back to Shanghai for another awesome GP. We get ready with a brief preview. Best seats, tires, track, all the good stuffs. It's a sprint so less practice means more chaos. Brutal time zone for us Central US folk, but we set up our next BOLDIES anyways.
