Special Episode: When You Feel Like You Can't Go On with Steve Austin
09/11/19 • 33 min
In the wake of the passing of Christian pastor and author Jarrid Wilson by suicide at age 30, I reached out to my friend, author, and self care expert Steve Austin to share with us about his own suicide attempt and his journey back to life. The result was a powerful 30 minute conversation that we're releasing today as a special episode of the podcast. With the Wilson family's permission, author Jonathan Merritt has started a Go Fund Me page to raise financial support for Juli Wilson and her two small sons. Please contribute here if you're able. You can visit Steve Austin's website here and follow him on Facebook and Twitter. Steve is the author of the excellent books From Pastor to a Psyche Ward and Catching Your Breath. If you are struggling with depression and/or suicidal thoughts, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 for immediate help from professionals who care. You are not alone. You matter. We need you here. This episode is dedicated to the memory of Jarrid Wilson with love and respect. Get bonus content on Patreon

Episode 16: Growing Things Change with Bob Hutchins
In this episode, I talk to author, podcaster, ordained minister, and social media marketing master, Bob Hutchins, about his faith journey, the dark side of the faith based film industry, Enneagram, and overcoming cynicism.
If you haven't already, you should really check out Bob's excellent podcast-Rumors of Grace wherever you listen to podcasts. It's one of my favorites.
