Alzheimer’s disease is an irreversible degeneration of the brain that causes disruptions in memory, cognition , and other functions. Each day, thousands of families are forever changed by this disease. An Alzheimer’s diagnosis is now more feared than cancer, and each year thousands of families are forever changed by this disease.
Join host Dana Territo in her podcast, The Memory Whisperer, as she presents thoughtful conversations about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, with topics ranging from research to the power of music, from perspectives from a male caregiver to learning how to deal with everyday stresses, and recognizing the needs of the affected individual by using the “Trip back in Time” model.
The Memory Whisperer podcast will enlighten and inform and help all those affected by the disease to calm their fears and gain a greater understanding about the journey.
