The 21st of December is known to Pagans as Yule also aligning with the shortest day of the year. Traditionally an ancient Norse festival, filled with feasting and wild celebrations, it was also a time of the dead, ghost stories, ancestor worship and tales of Odin leading the wild hunt and the armies of the dead ravaging the land.
